   When you send an order request or enquiry we collect your name, phone number, preferred contact method, and the details you give us about your celebration — occasion, date, servings, cake preferences, dietary requirements and design notes. If you choose to give us an email address or a delivery postcode, we collect those too. You can also upload inspiration images, which we store alongside your enquiry.

2. 02Why we collect it

   We use this information for one purpose: to reply to you about your cake, agree the design and details, and fulfil your order if you go ahead. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

3. 03Dietary and allergy information

   If you tell us about allergies or dietary requirements, we record that with your enquiry so we can confirm what we are able to accommodate. This is necessary for your safety and to fulfil your order correctly.

4. 04How it is stored

   Enquiries are stored in the website's own database, which only SpongyBakes can access through a password-protected admin area. Uploaded images are stored on the same server. We do not share your details with third parties except where we have to in order to fulfil your order.

5. 05How long we keep it

   We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to manage your order and our own business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it for accounting purposes.

6. 06Cookies

   This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It sets a cookie only when a SpongyBakes administrator signs in to manage the site.

7. 07Your rights

   You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone using the number on our contact page and we will deal with it.
